It’s not often I want a steak at 9am. Today is one of those days I want a steak at 9am. Sear marks are on point, Josh!

They make ones that fit.Weber Jr griddle insert?
When we work so hard to get every last drop of Grease out in a restoration it is a bit tough to just dump more down in there lolI don’t think $70 is a bad price! I just hate the thought of all that grease going down into the cookbox. Don’t think it’s harmful, just gives me the heebie jeebies!
Wow I bet!I’m glad I’m not alone in that feeling! Juices dripping onto the flavor bars isn’t as disturbing to me.
When me and a friend cooked 70 some burgers for our kids baseball game on his 36” Blackstone the amount of grease that came off was staggering. We had dump the grease tray a few times. Was kinda gross actually.
I've had a few that have fantastic original woodI’m still amazed the wood was in such good shape!
For my family it's mainly when I'm making 3 pizzas from scratch on the grill I need at least 2 grills so I can do them all at the same time. We do this often. Cooking one at a time wouldn't be the end of the world but it sure is nice to do them all at once.Yah, a three burner is definitely more versatile, but generally, a two burner will do all we need and just as good. Unless you have a family of 4-5, you generally don't need a three burner sized grill.
Honestly Bruce I don't think a lot of people realize this until they actually have one and try it.Yah, a three burner is definitely more versatile, but generally, a two burner will do all we need and just as good. Unless you have a family of 4-5, you generally don't need a three burner sized grill.
Yes that is correct! I used it on the outside of the cook box and outside of the lid end caps. This has given me the closest to original finish and I will continue to use a roller for this. I used a low nap roller 3/8" nap. Next time I will probably use 1/4 nap for just a tiny bit less texture. Coverage was even throughout.Josh, I'm interested in a detailed assessment of your results when using the roller-applied high heat paint. Did you use the roller on the cookbox and the lid end caps? In general, will you use the roller on your future restorations?
Agree with that assessment! There's always been a lot of emphasis on the 3 burners, but Bruce always reminded me the 2 burner is just as good for most needs-like mine-and cooks just as well. Smaller footprint is nice too. For most burger nights all I need is the little Q! Didn't take long for that newly cleaned box and grates to brown up! I'm also not a fan of griddles greasing up the grill. My wife's Ace store carries those Yoshi copper mats, and they work great keeping the insides clean!Honestly Bruce I don't think a lot of people realize this until they actually have one and try it.
Me too!One nice thing about the Juniors is that the almost cubic cooking area design is at least theoretically more heat efficient than the longer and narrower ones. I really like the way it heats up
