Genesis Gold Part 2

Ouch, $200 in parts is getting up there. Here are the Flavo bars that I use on my flips. They are 16 gauge Non-magnetic stainless and you get the bonus new burners with them. I honestly don't think you will find better flavo bars for a Silver/Gold Genesis.

More now, I just ordered this set. Thanks Bruce, I spent some time looking at all the different choices and did not recall seeing that set for some reason.

Those are fantastic bars. The burners were the ones I was having fitment issues with on my C build. For the money, and the quality of the bars absolutely worth it.

Amazon is weird. Sometimes I find stuff that for sure should show up in a search but doesn't for some reason.

A few weeks ago I was looking at performer gas assist assemblies on Amazon, found some in the $30 range. This weekend, they were non-existent unless they were Weber and $65-90.

Yes, Cody, I have had issues with several of the burners as well. For some reason, the middle one is able to slide too far to the left for some reason. But as we discussed, welding a little spacer on the slots of the front and back burner solves that problem. I have found them to work fine in other grills. Not sure if it is a variation in the grills or the burners themselves.

Both drip trays. New casters and inserts. Burner tubes. Thermometer. Warming rack. I was at a disadvantage on this one since I didn't really have any back up Silver/Gold parts. The only thing I did have is a new tank scale, which I had to cut the old one of the frame.

Whenever I order aftermarket burner tubes I expect there to be some kind of a problem. As long as I can make them work without hacking up the grill.
Yup. I’ve been working on a way to get the original burner tube bolts out of the silver B boxes. I haven’t perfected it yet. I’ve only done it on 2 but still doesn’t take much time. Still learning but will post further once I’ve got it more refined.

You shouldn't have to take those out to get the burner tubes in so that's a new one on me. I guess I'll see what's going on when I get them. I also have another aftermarket set coming so I can compare the two sets and I'll just return a set if they don't work right.

I even had to buy more stainless steel cook box bolts and keps nuts along with more of those clips that hold the lid badge on.IMG_20250421_222025211.jpg
