Genesis Gold Handle w/ Spirit 2-burner Lid, Mod!

And the back panel is ok too? Sounds like you have most of what you need to put it back together. Cook box bolts are 2" long but the extra length won't make any difference.
The back panel is toast. (see post #36) If I do not find a donor, I may attempt some aluminum sheeting. I have 4 panels of that in my shed. I have just never attempted to cut it. I believe it was Bruce who told my you could score it with a utility knife and snap it in two.

As long as it’s thin enough and you have a good straight line, and sharp blades that tactic will work.

If you want to go a little over the top, an acorn nut would look good on the inside of the cookbox. I thought about that on the 1000 i finished

Yeah, but then you would have to shorten the bolt to just the right length. I prefer to go with the stock look, a two inch bolt with a keps nut.

Yah, it just depends on how thick it is.

After not seeing any 2-burners show up in my area in years 2 popped up today. I am scheduled to pick them up this afternoon. I am hoping, 1 has a good back panel and maybe a salvageable top frame.

The Donors are in my possession. The top frame looks good on the surface, of the Spirit, but I will not know for sure until disassembly. The back panel looks good from the rear on the Silver A but it may have caught some rust on the inside. Do not feel like checking at the moment. The Silver A lid is an improvement of what I have so will be using that I believe. It was hot day, and I am exhausted from the 2 trips.

Another good thing was the mounting bolt of the cook box from one the donors came out without issue. So, I will be able to use that cook box in the place of the one I broke the seized bolt in.

I am thinking I would like to still complete one of the extra frames, so that I have a utility frame to put cook boxes in and clean them. Since it is difficult to clean them while in the cabinet form.

So, I swapped the top frame in and swapped to the Genesis Lid shroud keeping the Genesis Gold Handle.
Steve you were right about the SS 2 1/4" mount bolt being slightly sticking out as apposed the 2" one you recommended, however I like it that way better.
I have a mismatch Genesis Labeled lid and Spirit Labeled condiment rack, but it looks like Spirit name is just paint. Do you all have recommendation of what to use to remove the label without damaging the condiment rack.
The Donor Silver A has the unlabeled RHS condiment rack, but the trim piece is rusted in, and I do not see any screw holding it back.

I am aware she needs cleaning, but I have not gotten to that part yet.
