The back panel is toast. (see post #36) If I do not find a donor, I may attempt some aluminum sheeting. I have 4 panels of that in my shed. I have just never attempted to cut it. I believe it was Bruce who told my you could score it with a utility knife and snap it in two.
As long as it’s thin enough and you have a good straight line, and sharp blades that tactic will work.
If you want to go a little over the top, an acorn nut would look good on the inside of the cookbox. I thought about that on the 1000 i finished
Yeah, but then you would have to shorten the bolt to just the right length. I prefer to go with the stock look, a two inch bolt with a keps nut.
Yah, it just depends on how thick it is.
