I'm going to have my lid recolored on my Genesis grill.
I'm going with the blue color Weber offered on this grill, what is the actual blue called ?
It's a Genesis Gold, year 2000/2001
 
Some color descriptions are in this thread. I think it is simply "blue" for that generation

What is your Favorite Vintage Genesis Grill lid color

We are trying to find out the most popular lid colors on the vintage (Pre 2007) Genesis gas grill lids. I am using this lid color chart and adding Grey, Burnt Orange and Stainless to the list. I had to combine some of the color variations due to a limit on the number of poll choices available...

Maybe. I pressure washed holes in one once. Unless the old porcelain can be removed in a really gentle way you may be asking for bigger problems. A lot of times those big drip trays are already rusty and the only thing holding them together is that porcelain coating.
 
IPE lists a “Weber Deep Blue” among their color samples. It’s on the bottom right and appears to be what you’re looking for.
