Friday Tri tip

I cooked a Costco prime tri tip tonight on my Weber kettle! I did indirect until 110 degrees and then seared until about 130. We did a pre-made Trader Joe's coffee rub. The end results were amazing!

That looks just perfect, Andy! I love all the weird looks I get as I'm digging through the meat case to find the most marbled tri-tips! :) I have a coffee rub that I like, and I find it is a great one to use on tri-tip, and, brisket, too!

The Costco prime tri tips are such a great deal! I think this one was around $15-18 and fed 4 of us!
