Friday Tri tip roast!

Howdy and happy Friday...so many great cooks his week I had a hard time keeping up. This is no where close to Daniels salmon or Jim Tri cook...since I didn't get invited to either I thought I'd cook something up!
Came home and put my shorts and flip flops on and started the grill!

Not.....nope got snow today..Gerti out protecting her grill!
Got some taters cooking!

Got a Tri tip searing!

Then we moved the meat back to cook for a bit!

Rushed in to make some veggies!

Used some salt from the cute little container my wife found this week!

And plated with some black beans..buttered taters and tortilla's

Thanks Jim..that would be the king crab red ale that came out about Christmas...let me know what ya think..I think you'd like the new Alaskan Pale Ale better but give it a shot ...

What temp did you pull off the tri tip? I'm going to do my first ever this weekend...by the way nice cook Morgan!! Tortillas y frijoles negros nice sides for the tri tip.

Thanks Tony..I pulled it at 120 ish and let her rest for about 10 minutes!! Good stuff!
