Last night (Thursday night) my college football team started their season with a game on TV. Since I no longer live in Utah I had to watch the game on TV. So I cracked open a cold one and started the performer.

What I love about the fall is college football, good football food and pumpkin beer.

I spiraled the sausage and put some chicken on for my sweetheart who doesn't enjoy the spicy food as much as I do.

I threw in some chunks of mesquite and cooked indirect for about 20 minutes, allowing everything to start cooking.

Now it's time to get dinner a little closer to the flames.

Dinner is almost ready. That is still chicken in the corner, kind of looks like pita bread but it's chicken pieces.

Toasted the buns and dinner is served. Just simple garlic aioli and yellow mustard on the dawgs. Greek salad and yes another beer, I think that one was my third. Great dinner and yes my team even won.
