These were indirect on the kettle. I think I dispesnsed with the smokenator and just put a water pan underneath. Added coals every so often. This was a 6 hour cook

David looking great, I'll take a plate...what's the bright light and green stuff on the ground :)

Winter in South Florida? it's grilling season here!
I always cook my Thanksgiving turkey on the grill in shorts and a T-shirt.

Grilling and motorcycling seasons are opposite everywhere else in Florida!

I can grill all year, but its brutal in the summer!

9 pound brined turkey breast indirect. My thermometer failed 30 minutes in so I had to wing it. Took about 2.5 hours. I used a candy thermometer instead! The dial glass got pretty smoked over but it worked. The polder registered 399 degrees and when i sut it off, took out batteries and reassembled, it was stuck at 99. Time for a new one. I had it for 8 years though. But of all the days to crap out---Thanksgiving and my fam in from ohio...plus my wife's family.

I cooked a planked 1.5 pound salmon filet on the other performer for the non meat eaters. PESCITARIANS...LOL

I think i fixed it. Was trying to figure out how to upload pics from picasa.
Looks GREAT DAVID! Can I come over??!!

say what, use the SNAKE method of charcoal burning and you'll NEVER have to add coal again AND no need for water (unless you're thirsty and HATE beer!)
