Well a couple of weeks ago I saw a spun bird posted by S.Six, It looked so good and when I showed my wife the chicken she said "that looks good, you should get one". Well arm twisted I had one orderd before we both started thinking with our minds instead of our stomachs....
So here we go 1st time for me ever.
4lb bird, I did not have time to brine, so I injected it with creole butter, and applied Webers beer can chicken rub.
Started the performer
Put the bird on with Hickory in one basket and Pecan in the other, dome temop just under 400.... I think the fire in this pic is so cool.
Had a beverage and then checked the bird.
about an hr. and 15 later time to take it off.
