Chuck, if you don't have it already, I strongly suggest installing the app "watch duty" from watchduty.org on your phone.

The free version will get you alerts for three counties. I'm at the fringe of fire country but I have family up and down Eldorado, Placer and Nevada County. It's good to stay in the know.

Looks great, a large roof over any outdoor kitchen would be mandatory for me, I would hate that I couldn't use due to rain or snow. If a forever home why not make it special? Start with the roof and get a feel for which way the winds play before you start putting stuff in.
