I also haven't noticed any smoke coming out of the open corners of the door. My son asked if CB makes a door for the 14.5. I told him I wasn't going to buy one, he said now he knows what to get me for my birthday

Here is what I bought for my patio as both a work table and to raise my Mini-Joe Gold up to a comfortable height. Note that you can adjust the height of the table with three choices:

I use this table with my 18.5. Not to raise it up but as a work area. What I like about it is the area with just metal to set hot things on. This might work great to put a 14.5 on and raise it up

Just to make the smoker itself a little more comfortable to reach. The 14.5 Is pretty short

I do the same thing but I use full size cinderblocks, it puts the WSM a a perfect height to cook on, you don't have to squat down
