Well, it took me a while but its finally done. Now to get up for sale and move on to the Gold B with the Summit Frame. This Silver C was a lot of work. Had to do Bruce type frame repair and had to fix a good bit of rust.

Thanks to my auction site of Amazon returns, the internals were reasonable. All new burners, flavoriser bars, stainless steel grates, new ignitor and regulator.

I got rid of the side burner and Bruce hooked me up with another side table. Bruce always comes through.

I have before and after pics for you guys to see. Let me know what I could have done better.

Bobby

One question: is that the original floor pan? Or did you buy a new one?

Looks great. Let us know how the sale goes. Post up a link to the sale listing if you don't mind.

Original floor pan. I thought that I had a Silver C bottom rack but it turned out be for a Silver B. I had the pan sandblasted along with the fire box and end caps. I painted the pan with a really thick rustoleum paint from a quart can with a brush then I took a spray can of the rustoleum textured paint and after that flat black rustoleum spray paint. I know it's kinda over kill but it was cheaper than a new pan or rack. You can still make out one spot of the pitting but it's not that noticeable.

Good solution. I don't think you can find one up by me that is it rusted all the way through and several areas

It was rusty but got lucky and it was only surface. Here's the Face Book Market Place listing.

Auction site of Amazon returns?

https://www.bidfta.com is the web site, when you go to the site you should see a blue block with a gold border that says "Find Live Auctions" click the "View All Auctions" then you should see "Choose my Location" click on those words and then a list of sites will show all auctions and what cities they are available in. There are some in Indiana, Ohio, New York and Illinois. Don't know how far any of those may be from you but if one is semi close it might be worth your while to start an account and bid. I have had good luck with other things in addition to grill parts. I have gotten Weber Silver B burners for as low as a couple of bucks, the grates on the Silver B were around 28.00. You have to pay attention to the condition some may say "Appears New", "Open Box" or "Incomplete
