Have been lurking around here for the better part of 2 years or so. Anywho, I'm a long time gasser but I've started dipping my toes into the world of charcoal. Like many others here, I scour CL and pick up some new family members here and there. Some I keep, others I fix up and send along to good homes.
Currently have a Genesis Silver C, a Genesis Gold C, a Summit Gold D (current rehab project), a black kettle (OTS? don't remember the date stamp) and a recently acquired (two days ago) Weber Performer (don't remember it's date stamp either.)
I've cooked on the kettle once, and the Performer twice and have come to realize that while I know my way around a gasser, this charcoal thing is a completely different animal.
Anyways, it's nice to be here.
