I have been a bit off lately! Not going to dig any deeper in "WHY".
Some cooks. (Emilie one) Inspirered by BoB´s chicken.(but a banked out pork loin)
Basil/fresh bread/garlic.
start of with flour/egg/bread crumps. 3 step.
Grilled with Olivers favorite skew´s!
Plated with rice and a bea.
Decent meal...Lets move on!
My Comp burger that dident hit the board. Cheese dident melt like i wished. And dident look anything that i thought.
Started out with some Bacon:
Crispy bacon...caramelized red onion..Sweet taters(in foil to make em tender) that sould be like tater chips...but turned out like mush, you aint gonna se em again
Onion,reduced in Balsamic and honey.
Portabello with chevré and some spears.
Tasted great! But the sweet taters dident cut it. And this is not anything near what whas posted in the Burger comp...Respect to all!
Ok last night...Side of the pig(not the belly but close) Only salt/pepper.
Direct 8 min with the lid to get some char.(Flipped every 2 min)
Then put in a stock...Of onion,bay leafes,carrots,soy,salt/pepper,and a stock made of onions(the base)
Was so sweet weather. Untill this:
Let em simmer for 1,5 hours
Had to add some water 45 min in.
No plated pic...But it was spoon tender!
Really dig that last cook. Pork at its best!
*Edit* couse i cant spell!
