Father's Day Comes Early

Been lurking these forums for months, then yesterday 8pm the UPS Man arrived with brand new 18.5! I figured it was time to make it official and register here. This is a great board, so much information....

I have been honing my craft for two years with a vintage Brinkman Sportsman that I rescued from the curb. After 1/2 dozen mods, 1/2 dozen chickens, 4 briskets, and many a rack of ribs, I am very happy to start new with a WSM!

Hello from Oklahoma!

Welcome aboard! You are gonna love your new WSM.:wsm: Be sure to share some pics of your cooks in the Photo Gallery!

Congrats on the WSM. Your kids must like you a lot! If you take care of it, the WSM will last you
a lifetime, maybe more.

Welcome to THE family !

LOL. Oh... and welcome to a new start without the frustrations...

Congrats and welcome. I would guess that you are going to do the cooking for Fathers Day? We are celebrating tomorrow and I am doing the brisket at 9 tonight. Wait, isn't that what Fathers Day is about, dad BBQ's? Enjoy that bad boy.
