Extra Lid....what to do?


 
So some of you may have seen that I have experience some small rusting on the lid handle of my WSM. Weber is sending me a brand new lid assembly which will leave me with the old one.
Are there any mods that I can use this for or anything worthwhile?
Any thoughts/ideas?
 
You could buy another vent and cut a second vent in the lid. It will accelerate your temps and take you into the HH range a lot quicker, no water of course. I have two on mine and it works like a charm when I want to cook HH brisket or anything for that matter where I want grill type temps.
