Embers charcoal $1.53 15lb bag at Home Depot

I picked up 8 bags of Embers charcoal for $1.53 at a Home Depot in NJ.
Tough to beat that price.

I used it a bit over the summer. It seemed to be just like Kingsford blue. Close enough for me.

I used about a dozen bags Thanksgiving through january.
It was on clearance for $3 a bag back then.
Honestly it's smells more acrid to me when lighting off than some charcoals
Every time I lit it smelled like I've been standing around a campfire for a good long time smell in clothes and hair.
But once hot it burns just the same.
