Easy like Sunday evening

A very underrated part of BBQing is shopping and planning meals. Buy too much and it sits or goes bad. Not enough and well…that probably never happens with this group!🤣.
But the planning is key and when you dial in a weekend with all the major food groups (beef, chicken, pork) included it feels nice. Especially when you are doing it for your kids and getting them involved on the process.
But tonight the goal was keep it simple!D316F5A4-9F68-472A-853E-886AD5C3C3B7.jpeg4F9EE1D0-538E-4CF3-8827-A4EC684D48DA.jpegPork tenderloin and some dressed up pre-made salad from Trader Joe’s…that is it!E5BA96C8-34D5-427E-971C-7F910988E1FE.jpeg203CB33C-B122-49B4-A3E4-50501534F92C.jpegDid a sear and then indirect to about 140 and then a short rest.A512C37F-1DA4-4ABA-AFF3-025626C2CFBC.jpeg27D226EA-2133-43EE-96DB-0A51C025F475.jpeg1EB8EBD4-82EA-4EFE-B70F-1E013165FAC0.jpeg

Didn't finish the wine from the other night, or opened a new bottle?

I agree, simple is sometimes the best recipe of all. Oh, and thank you for cooking that tenderloin to a proper temp! :)

That’s some clean eating. Healthy and satisfying. Nicely done! I’m assuming you’re in OR? Just curious.

Richard,
Everything looks amazing as we expected from you. You always have the tripped threat for a great post: great food, great photographic work, and the true spirit of bbqing packed into every post.
I love your comment about bbq shopping and planning. I love the planning, prepping, getting proteins out to defrost, getting the fresh ingredients at the right time so they are all all that stuff. I hit the bbq protein trifecta this weekend also. Chicken tacos on Friday, homemade ramen with smoked and seared pork tenderloin on Saturday, and Picanha tonight!!!

Richard, it looks like you’re a real pro at handling loins. Do you know any marinades that make it spicy 🌶?
