been power washing nearly everything in sight this weekend... more today (skipped out of work
)
with all that going on and dinner to make, I simply spatchcocked a 4½lb bird, seasoned it with Penzey's Salsa seasoning and Southwest seasoning. Then tossed the chicken into a large cast iron skillet.
a few ears of corn surround the bird.
about an hour later....
the other day, I mentioned an easy way to husk grilled corn, here are a coupla photos...
Cut the bottom of the cob completely off...
...then simply squeeze out the cob from the other end...
the ear slides out perfectly clean and ready to munch!
so we did!
with fresh garden green beans seasoned up with Mural of Flavour
