Drip EZ BBQ Prep Tub- Has anybody used one of these?

I was scrolling Instagram when an ad popped up for this. I like the idea of it collapsing flat so you don't need to store a large marinating/brining pan. It's also dishwasher safe. They seem to be pretty popular, there's already a bunch of cheap knock-offs on Amazon.

I've seen this before and is sold on atbbq.com website - loooks like it could be really handy when if you're going to prep a lot of meets for bbq, or maybe whole turkeys and such. Not sure I'll be buying one, but the price on ATBBQ seems reasonable. I watch almost all of Chef tom's videos on their youtube channel. I've ordered a couple of items from their site and they shipped pretty quick.

@Clay Neubauer used one in the thread. He was pretty straight forward about it.

"Get yourself one of these prep tubs. Maybe two. They are awesome"

I like that design! I've got a collapsing electric boiler that is similar (silicon construction for the collapsible bit.) I'd look at one of these for prep, brining, and would make a good tub or two for grinding meats/mixing sausages, etc.

Thanks for posting (again) @Chris-SF!

Mrs Dollar got one for me as a Christmas gift. She got tired of me getting rub all over the kitchen. Works very well for pork butt and yard bird, but for ribs and brisket, I don't like it.

Its dishwasher safe, but did not fit into our old dishwasher. And I haven't used it since we got a new dishwasher.

I'll add , I'd be careful on Amazon. Those I looked at there, were smaller than the one from ATBBQ. And would be too small for a lot of meats. The one I have is 20" long and I need every bit of that.

I already have hotel pans.
And when taking some PVC to the recycler, I spied a stack of perfectly fine half pan lids, I saw no reason not to recycle one myself I rarely need more than two so, I let most of them go to wherever.

But they don't collapse for storage. That's what's nice about this tub.

I’ve got room for a hotel pan or three. My space, though limited is not quite that tight…yet.
Maybe if I was just getting into a first place, I might consider it but, just because it’s collapsible? I’m not seeing it for me.
