I've picked up some great knowledge here, and have been putting it to use. Tonight our family enjoyed some tasty pork ribs done in a Kettle with two firebricks cooked low and slow, using the Minion method I learned here.

I'm not enough of an expert to offer advice to anyone, so I'll rarely post, but I do appreciate the depth of knowledge and great advice here.
 
Posts like yours (I'm not an expert, but I did this and it turned out great) encourage newbies who are intimidated to jump right in. You don't have to be an expert to contribute - keep posting!

Congrats on a successful cook, and like the others said, post pictures!

Dan most of us here are just some happy amatures doing what we love the most.

Sure we have alot off real pros too,a healthy mix of nowledge between us.

And i lern stuffs everyday from this forum from other ppls mistake to my own,the important step in this is that we all share.

So just feel free to post and a warm welcome!
 
One of the great things about this forum is that tyro or pro, everyone brings something to the table.
