Doggone it.....Who put away their snowblower?????

we may get some snow weds or Thurs, but I may have to drive up the hill a few miles to get to the snow line.
I heard Mt. Diablo got a decent dump of snow a couple days back.

I didn't need to run the snowblower last Friday, but I wanted to play

It’s a tad chilly this morning

“They” say we could see some flurries late this week, I got the lawnmower out of the shed and have put out feelers to my small engine guy to get it tuned up for summer!
Funny thing is, I bought a steel shed last November (stop laughing!) and my buddy and I froze our chimneys off assembling it, tucked the mower in and last week, I was looking at arrangement of the garage and figured out how to get the thing in just fine! Now, I guess I have more space for grill parts and erstwhile outdoor “stuff”!

Depending on which forecast I listen to here, anywhere from 3 to 10 inches here tomorrow/tomorrow night.

The forecast for here has been downgraded from a blizzard to a winter storm. Snowfall predictions were 5-9" at the highest, currently 3-5".

Looks like the storm track may be going a little south. Rochester, MN is going to get hit with 4-8", Eau Claire, WI is going to get some, La Crosse, WI seems to be down a bit.

In any event, we have food, we have tasty adult beverages and no reason to leave the house at all tomorrow.

What's that I heard this morning? A wet firecracker?

The storm has turned south and lessened. It's going right over Rochester, MN and only forecast this morning to drop 4-8" in total, about 25% less.

It just started flurrying about an hour ago and schools are closing in at least three counties. What the heck...

Up here in Colorado ski country, we just went over 275 inches for the season.

March is typically the snowiest month up here; April often the second snowiest month. So we'll probably approach 360 inches/30 feet for the season.

Multiple ski areas will be open into mid-May. Also good news for the summer fire season.

It's been freaky weird here all day. We get spells where you think it's gonna be Armageddon, then some gusts of wind and it's gone. Just a few hits of rain and maybe a little sleet. Earlier I had the heater on in the garage and was in there working on stuff puttering around and happened to look outta the window and it's nearly dark as night, eerie yellow green sky, and I'm thinking here it is. Then a couple bolts of lightning a little thunder and it's gone again. Really weird day and totally not pleasant at all

Got to actually use it for real, got about 5” last night and needed to take the garbage cans to the curb
