Does anybody else check their receipt when returning from the grocery store?

It's Saturday night, lousy night for TV, DH is sleeping in the living room (lol) At least I am having fun with you guys. Thank you for sharing your post with us Tim.

I'm usually under 15 items so I do the self scan aisles. If something scans wrong I'll call over the employee.
Recently I bought a 15 pack of Founders beer. Normal price $16.99 on sale for $15.00.
When I scanned it the price was $1.50. The girl came over and did the age verification thing and I asked her is that price right?
She scanned it again and said yep. I felt a little quilt walking out of the store, but I did ask.

I'm not familiar with that brand of beer, otherwise my first inclination would have been to go back for some more at that price, maybe.

I’ve caught some errors right away at the register and with the advent of super fast scanners it’s easy to watch what’s going on. I also try to get cashiers that I’ve built a relationship with and I’ve caught errors both ways. Yes, it’s worth looking
No dogs or cats right now sounds like we may be replacing feline companionship after we get back from the lake.
I don’t have the time to bring up a dog the way I like. It takes time, and we’ve become more able to “get up and go” for a weekend and I can’t do that with a dog. A cat just gives you a dirty look when you get home for a day then, they are fine. A dog, needs someone to be there or boarding. I have known too many dogs that end upcoming home with “Kennel cough” or something else. I no longer have friends with kids who would stay here with a dog that makes me sad too.
