Ditched the Weber Cart

That is a great solution for a cart, but it probably isn't something you would want to leave outside for any length of time.

Lives outside full time. So far so good. With proper care and maintenance it will last longer than the p.o.c. plastic Weber cart!

The old style stands for the Q 120/220 series weren’t great but much sturdier that the new style “X” framed ones View attachment 37882
What are the dimensions (width) of the bottom feet that sit on the table for a WeberQ1200. I have a small table that measures 15”x151/2”?. I plan on picking up my new WeberQ 1200 tomorrow

Reviving old thread.

The new Weber Q stand & portable cart are much sturdier than the previous generation.
Weber ditched the flimsy plastic front piece & now the cart is more of a cabinet style.

Harbor freight has tool carts that may be good as a Weber Q stand. Industrial looking but are sturdy
There are shelf attachments & magnetic trays available too.

I still prefer the Weber OEM carts, they are purpose built and if covered when not in use will hold up for years.

Too many people buy these nice grills only to leave them uncovered year round. Even in mild climates like California, the sun and salt air will do damage to any fancy grill. I always invest in grill cover and all of my grills are covered when not in use.
