Diner Green 70th Anniversary Edition Kettle

There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of interest around here in the 70th Anniversary Kettles, but I'm posting pics of mine anyway - 'cause I just love it!

The color is exactly as depicted in the Weber site images, which is what i was hoping for. But it's a little more glossy - it's beautiful.
Oddly, my pics look kind of "spring" green. It's cloudy here today, I'll try again tomorrow when its supposed to be sunny. (Inside, my pics look pale blue-ish.) 🤷‍♀️

Anyway, the color is true to the Weber pics, and I am very happy with it.

Reminds me of “Cascade Green” a color an old boss used on the walls of the business years and years ago. When the place was “redone” it was very nice to NOT have every wall in that color.
I must say it looks great on a grill though!

Nice!

How do the handles feel? They're plastic/fiberglass, right?
I like them. They're smooth, they call them nylon.
You would not mistake them for wood, but I think they have their own appeal.
I've bought plenty of wood handles, but I plan to keep this grill original.
