trying to determine my genesis silver b Manufacture date..the sticker is worn off...there is a number stamped on the manifold 0/133.is this a date reference?

Post a pic and we can narrow it down to a year or two.

One that shows the whole grill and one of the control panel so we can see the number on the front left corner like 8101 or 8128.

Can you post a photo of the thermoset tables? DId it have a cabinet or is it an open cart with grate? Do you have an overall photo of when it was still together?

2000 to 2001 is my guess from the 8101 control panel and round vs square manifold.

Edit if the frame has lower cross bars then it's much like my DD date code silver B

Yah, a photo of the tables will help with that. If they are the more squared off ones, that would say earlier year too. And if the grate is the drop in one vs the snap in one, that would say early years too. I think that style of handle is the older style as well.

Do you either of you know what year they switched to square manifold tubing?

I think 2002.

I my early stage Weberitis I picked up a DU date code and it had a square manifold.

Ok...thanks...I'm picking up a silver c tomorrow that is natural gas. I have a spare square tubing lol manifold that I hope fits to convert
I found the newer valves have more sweep angle, so you may want to factor that in and keep the control panels with the manifold so they match.

The newer valves and control panels have LOW in the 3 o clock position.

The older 8101 control panel LOW is in the 4:30 or 5 o clock position.

Edit: here's a newer 8128. Compare it to your 8101 and you'll see what I'm trying to say.

Edit 2 an 8101 for example

Yeah, autocorrect got you. If you click on the three dots you can edit your post to fix typos.
