I think it looks like mud wasp nests maybeYet ANOTHER Vieluxe less than an hour from me! For years I seldom saw one and now they popping up all over.

That’s a good point. I guess I don’t really know what the goal would be, though. I already have almost all the parts I need for mine. As rare and special as these are I don’t see much, if any, flip potential with two NG versions within a few hours of me both languishing unsold and down to the $400 range.

Just confirmed picking it up this afternoon, I thought it was a 1 at first but the igniter button has a surround. The tank gauge rod is on the outside though. I thought a picture now would be wise, as I always end up breaking them down and doing some preliminary scraping before I load and never remember to snap a picture first.Look forward to seeing what you try to sneak in!

I'd get both! just sayinIt's home, still packed in the van. I did find a casting date of 89 on one of the end caps. What I thought was a dusty redhead ended up being a chocolate surprise! The lid is in great shape and a color I've never seen in person. Pretty much all original down to the burners with plastic guards. Frame and particularly the crossmember in very good shape. Rotted out flavorizers that crumbled as I touched them, siting on top of the damaged burners. No bottom tray but intact rails. Intact z bars too. The tank scale is there but pretty rusty.
This free Genesis 1 may have saved me from diving down another rabbit hole. I was sizing up a sweet newer Broilmaster with a stainless base when this popped up three miles away.
Looking back a couple years, I was running an old Fiesta Advantis and thinking about a Broilmaster when the Fiesta firebox broke away from the frame and I bought an emergency Silver A for $25. That first cook on the Silver A and the Weberitis set in.I'd get both! just sayin

For 10 years had a like new post mount NG Broilmaster I bought at a school fundraiser, sitting in the box waiting for me to get a line installed. I was still a charcoal griller at the time. Busy with work, kids and college costs, I sold it years ago for what I paid - $50.
