Curb Alert !!!

I like the maroon version also. I have my eye on one for sale. I don't like it as much as the gray but I do like it a lot. Both are high on my list because I think the stripes add cool vintage character. I like that they don't have platinum series printed on them also.

The stripes make a huge difference for me, so much so that regular lids don't appeal to me very much any more.

Of course I wouldn't mind seeing you do one as well. I can't be the only one willing to do start to finish restoration threads. That's seems to be what we need a little more of here.
I'll be happy to do more. I have three planned right now and I have most everything I need for the restorations. After that we'll see but I have several so I'll probably do some donation Genesis x000 grills after I finish my personal line up.

You can count on me for whitewalls. I am still working on the ones for the older style wheel that you sent me. As I like to say with a lot of not so easy things that I do, there is some math involved.
I'm excited for them. Both styles. When paired with freshly painted black wheels together they make a big difference on the appearance of a nice restoration.

Possibly some SS goodies from Dave. I'll have to see what I have and what I need. Oh I'll need some Steve Hoch white walls also. I think that's it.
As far as the Zbars go, they are pass/fail for me. Meaning, if there is the slightest amount of rust on one I will not reuse it because you will see the imperfections in it even after you repaint it. The only thing I haven't done, but think I will, is have the ones that Dave makes powder coated to match the original finish.

Looks like I found some more 9930s. I'll pick it up next week when I'm back in Washington if it's still available.

WEBER BBQ free to good home!

I have several sets with zero rust that I can use and should. Most that I have come across are rust free. I like Dave's but I see no reason to not reuse the ones I have. So we'll see but I will definitely use Dave's flavorizer bars. I think I have one extra set.
