Curb Alert !!!

Yah, they just upped the price from $500 to $650 a half hour ago. It was $500 for a whole day. And she doesn't even know it is not a Genesis 3000. Genesis 2 or 3.
Someone must have put a bug in her ear about it's value. I didn't even notice it didn't have casters at first glance.

I’ve told myself I won’t venture into the pellet world… but I don’t think this is a terrible deal. Anyone tinkered with these?

I saw that and it would probably be a great rehab candidate if I know something about them. However, I don't know much about them and from their history, they had some issues early on which makes it dicey for someone with out much experience with them when you have to replace major parts to get them working. Also, I am guessing the resale market is not that good on them since Weber has moved on to a new model (Searwood) already.
Let me know if you wind up picking that up.

If it's something you want simply to "get into" that type of cooking it could be a great deal. Don't look at it as a flipper. Grab it fix it, use it. When it dies again best thing will likely be to send it to the scrapper (sadly).
