Those Summit side burner trivets are stainless steel, so a lot more desirable than the normal ones.

Yes @Cody Bratton, they are, and they look awesome on a platinum or a silver c. When you find them be sure to also get the diffuser.

Every summit I have seen, I grab the side burner pieces and grates. Except the ones this side burner was on. I didn’t want those in my car. Even though they were stamped SS, it was a nope from me. Even if they were rods it would’ve been really difficult

I didn’t go back out. And if I do tomorrow I will be very picky about what I collect. Had a couple of our drivers tell me where they saw grills and I made a notes (most are trained to spot a Weber). I will only grab 1/1000, Silver a b or c’s. Unless a mint Q (still struggling with leaving that one) or sidewinder shows up. So l I’ll pretty much likely take anything with the Weber logo on it. … help, lol

Would one of those grates fit in your sandblast cabinet? I've still got these horrible grates to clean up. I'll let you know how it went when I do it.

Well, I'll bet they would come out super shiny and clean if you sandblast them then. It's just money in the bank on flips.

I’ve often considered doing that. I just wonder if they’d be discolored similarly to the flavor bars? I get the heat intensity is more damning to the bars.

I get them pretty good just with the wire wheel, shinier than new. It's definitely worth a shot in my book.
