Put a Weber badge on it, and you are set
No Genesis 1000-5000 grills came with a drop down table in that spot from the factory. You're right though, if you choose to put a drop down table on the right side of a Genesis 1000 there is no room for the tool hooks where they belong. They can’t be installed under control panel if there’s a drop table there
Yeah, they look lopsided to me. It is not that I dislike them. They just look kinda unbalanced.

When I would see that model in the dealers brand new the hooks were in front of the cook box. They went in the same spot regardless of the drop table on the right side, under the control panel.
I believe it. They can assemble them any way they want to and that must be how they liked to do it.When I would see that model in the dealers brand new the hooks were in front of the cook box.
Yes, and the 3000.The 4000 and 5000 came standard with the right side flip correct?
I think there is some confusion starting here about this. The Genesis 3000-5000 have a drop down table standard. They are on the extended part of the frame and not under the control panel. So, regardless of what model you have the tool hooks are supposed to go under the control panel.None of them had a right drop down table? Were they only available as an accessory?
Yes, otherwise what would be the difference between a 2000 and a 3000? It's the addition of the flip down table. A 4000 gets the flip down table and a side burner. The 5000 gets both of those and the enclosed cabinet. Edit: I think I have part of this backwards after thinking about it. The 3000 came with a side burner and no flip down table, the 4000 came with both. Are you sure the 3000 came standard with the right flip.
No, come to think of it. The 3000 came with a side burner and no flip down table. The 4000-5000 came with both. Are you sure the 3000 came standard with the right flip.
Now that I have it straight I should make a chart so I can remember it all.Thank you for clarifying Steve
And post it for reference. I would love to see a compatibility chart for genesis 1 to 1000 to Silver B. Like frames. It is shocking to me how damn clean this 1000 cart I have is, and how rotted so many of the Silver B/C's are.Now that I have it straight I should make a chart so I can remember it all.
Parts of the early Silver B's frames are compatible with Genesis 1000 frames. When you consider condition, there may only be a two or three year age difference between the generations so environment plays the big part in what survives and what doesn't I think. And post it for reference.
