So it's been a pretty crappy day for me. (long story). Anyway had a physical therapy appt today and Costco is close by. So, since I had scripts ready and needed a couple other things. While there I see they have fresh "take and bake" pizzas. So, I grabbed a Margherita and decided to do it on the Member's Mark. 425, total time about 14 min on the upper rack. Wow! DARN good pizza. Very pleasantly surprised and the little MM did an outstanding job. Great crispy crust, everything perfectly cooked. Definitely will be a repeat purchase and cook for us!

I meant health wise but I wish you wealth, too.
Oh it wasn't health issues. The physical therapy is mostly due to a neck injury I got over 50 years ago. And I had no idea it was at the root of all the ancillary neck, shoulder, nerve and such issues. I'd been going to a chiropractor weekly, and while they were helping and basically maintaining status quo. But, always some other issues were cropping up. They recommended therapeutic massage. And that would help as well. But neither therapist was able to or willing to work with BCBS health insurance.
Earlier this year for father's day my wife bought me a therapeutic massage gift certificate at a different place, and back in September I made an appointment. After which they'd called me to check on any ancillary health issues they might need to know about i.e. blood pressure, diabetes, age, weight and general build.
They said we'll have Sherry for your appointment. So I get there. This somewhat small unassuming woman comes out and said she'll be the therapist.
So while working on me she starts going on about "What's going on with your neck?" She said lots of scar tissue, and other stuff. Then outta the blue she asks "Were you in a a car wreck?" I explained: Yes but over 50 years ago. I was hit from behind while stopped by another car doing about 40 mph. I asked her: If that is still a problem thinking I'd healed up. She told me since I'd never sought any treatment things healed up badly.
So now they're working on that with rehab, PT, Chiropractic, targeted medical massage and so on. And wonder of wonder, they're making progress AND working with my insurance! Who knew? An accident from over 50 years ago could be an issue now

'd been going to a chiropractor weekly,
Ha. I've heard this before, a few decades back, from my boss. He'd been going to a chiropractor on a monthly basis to work on his lower back. Sort of out of the blue, his doctor gave him a referral to a sports medicine clinic. Took that clinic about an hour to figure out his problem was in the back of his legs, not his lower back. As long as he kept his legs stretched out, his back was no longer a problem.

That is almost exactly what happened to me. I had a terrible back issue and could barely move. Went to Doctor, Chiropractor (that almost broke my back), and acupuncturist with no results. We had a cruise scheduled and my wife and I opted into a Pilates class. After class I mentioned to the woman teaching about my back and she had me do a few things and told me I did NOT have a back problem, my ham strings were too tight! She gave me a few stretches and have not had problems since. Best cruise ever!

Thanks for the tip on the Costco Pizza, I will need to pick one up next time.

I had a history of back problems, the first time I saw a Chiropractor which did nothing for me after multiple sessions.
The next time when I threw my back out (really bad) I went to the emergency room. The nurse gave me a shot (I believe cortizone), when she pulled the needle out I felt like doing back flips. The subsequent times I had back issues (usually from lifting stuff too heavy) I would take Aleve which helped. Years later I started excercising and lifting weighs to build my upper body strength. Ever since then I have not had one back problem. I found it interesting that not one Dr. suggested to me to lift weights to build up my upper body strength.

I don't train people anymore but I am a certified personal trainer and I have trained people who didn't think they were capable because of back problems and after training for a few months had no more back problems and were so thankful. This isn't the answer for everyone but for some people It can be life-changing.
