Dont really like fish. I LOVE smoked salmon. And i can eat Cod. My father cought a few and gave 6 of em to me. This is what we did(meal one):

The fish:


Whats left of it.(No bones) If my father see´s this i wont get any more fish from him. I might be the #1 idiot of filé fish.



The 2 sides are covered in Flour-->Egg-->bread crubs!




In a pan on the grill with alot of butter.


Served with a horseradish sauce & Lime. Soo goood.

Great looking fish dinner Wolgast. Looks like you nailed the coating. Don't feel bad about your fileting skills. It's always harder without a head to hold on to. An electric filet knife works best for me.

I was afraid to look, thought the 'Cod' would be grilled, but No! it was fried!

Great looking meal Daniel! And I think I may be the number 1 idiot when it comes to filleting fish! Trust me, ain't a pretty sight!!

I really hope you cooked some nice broth of the "leftovers", and then you can make a fantastic soup/stew of the majority of the fish. Add some soy sauce, lemon grass, coreander, and so on if you want to be exotic.

To be frank, I can show you a trick or two when it comes to make fish filets..

Thanks ppl! This is how my mother cooked cod when i was growing up. Really love the horseradish sauce.

Geir: Im sad to say that all the bones/skin/nasty stuff was trashed. What would a guy that dont like fish do with some fish stock? I think i need to have a few classes with you before the BIG Comp between me and Mike!

The brother of my wife returned a week ago from a fishing trip in Norway. I have several of these cod in the freezer, so thank you for the inspiration, Dan. It looks very edible. But I will need advice from boning
