About two weeks ago Cliff did a shepherd’s pie, the recipe made two pies
https://tvwbb.com/showthread.php?76212-Two-Potato-Shepherd-s-Pie
We wanted to try it, but our inside freezer and the two garage freezers are maxed out from holiday leftovers and rib roasts and steaks we got on some great sales plus everything else that was already in them.
So I cut the recipe in half and made just one pie
Plan was to cook it on the E320 but it was 18 degrees and 20+mph winds and sleet. Nope ain’t going to happen. So ya I know it’s a Weber forum, but the thought was there.
I have never had a shepherd’s pie with things like rice vinegar, nutmeg, and orange juice and orange zest in it.
Well I will say this was the most outstanding shepherd’s pie we have ever had.
The mix of flavors was just outstanding especially with the orange juice and zest.
Thanks again Cliff for sharing the recipe, it’s a keeper.
