We would normally get some restaurant food in all these previous covid years holidays, it always seemed like the workers never wanted to be there, so once again I am cooking up a delicious meal for the MRS and myself with her help of course.
We don’t do presents as we both feel like Christmas really is for the children.
We get some good food and the MRS calls today our day during the holiday rush.
So we got some treats, snacks, vino…..or similar and some good dinner.
We made it to an Italian grocer a few weeks back, got some treats.
Cheeses and cured meats……cheeses were not from the grocer.
Drinks look tasty, I am not all the way up on my wines and champagnes but the one I know is a tasty blended collection.
Dinner is going to be prime grade rib eye, about an inch thick…….making some gnocchi up here and making a mushroom, spinach white wine and garlic sauce to compliment the gnocchi…….maybe some Parmesan on there too….scooped up a bit of that.
Also searing up some good sized scallops and putting them on the side of the gnocchi…….
Ceaser salad to go with all of that.
