Chicken Quarters and Red Potatoes

Hello everyone. Its been awhile! Due to life's crazy way of happening we haven't even been cooking outdoors much. I regret this and have missed all of the great people on the forum. But today everything worked out. We got some chicken quarters on sale and had some time to cook outside on the Webers. So here we go!

Kim cut the rib bones off the quarters, I seasoned them with our basic rub and put them out on the grill to cook. No smoke.

Kim cut up some red potatoes and foiled them and I put them on the grill. I flipped the chicken every so often. I made a mushroom and wine sauce inside and plated the whole deal.

I would have been able to have a little more descriptive post but photobucket is almost impossible to work with. But it was a really great meal. The mushrooms were the hit. The chicken was very tasty. The sugar in the rub made for a very crisp and yummy skin. It was great cooking outside again and taking the time to get pictures.

As always thanks for looking and have a great rest of your weekend!

Outstanding cook Robert and Kim. Good to see you in the neighborhood again. Chicken looks fabulous with that mushroom/wine sauce and like Tony, love the foiled potatoes.

Barb and I wondered where you two went, great to see you back. That is one nice meal, but you two always make great stuff.

Good to see you posting Robert, and it's always a pleasure to see the beautiful Kim (I don't see what she sees in a dodgers fan) :)
