Chicken Pot Pie

Leftover chicken from a previous cook, frozen mixed vegetables and a can of flaky Grand biscuits, flour to make a gray and a few seasonings and you have chicken pot pie. I pulled the Grand biscuits apart so I had twice as many and laid them on top of my chicken mixture and cut some of the biscuits in half to fill in the gaps.

Chicken mixture in a CI skillet and laying the biscuits on top

Covered and brushed a little melted butter on top

On the grill to bake, should have checked it about 5 minutes sooner.

Not the prettiest looking meal but it tasted really good.

What do you mean not the "prettiest"? This picture could be on the cover of a grilling book....or at least the picture of the week on TVWBB. If this pie tasted half as good as it looks...I'm in for two plates please.

Very Creative John! Something new for me to try on these cold rainy late Fall days to take the
chill away and warm me up.

Simple yet sublime. What a great idea. Like some others have already posted I'll be trying this after Thanksgiving. :o
