We had some frozen hamburger patties from Omaha Steaks from Christmas that we decided to cook tonight. Thinking of a way to make them "interesting", I decided to make a "Cheesy Western". Anyone from Southwest Virginia probably is familiar with the Texas Tavern, a delicious hole in the wall in Roanoke, Va. who's most popular sandwich is a cheeseburger topped with a fried egg that they call a Cheesy Western. By coincidence a guy at work game me some eggs from his son's free range chickens. No brainer. Made some fries too...

There's some talk on the "Recipe Requests & Ingredient Questions" about the "Perfect French Fry Recipe". Most agree with a double fry. I decided to try and "bake" them first (instead of the first fry) and then fry them at 350-400. Baking.

Hamburgers on and egg pan preheating.
