Home Depot is running a sale on charcoal now- TWIN PACK 20's- FOR $9.88, limit of 10 twins at a time. Got mine today!
 
I bought two twins about memorial day weekend hoping it would last unit July 4th, but now I don't have to hope no more, will be hitting HD Saturday morning buying enough to hopefully make it to Labor Day weekend

This summer sure seems like it's going by fast...
 
I was in home depot today too to get a power washer and didn't see the sale....guess i will head back tomorrow after I drop my son off at daycare :)
 
I was there last week and saw a few sets of double stacked pallets of the twin packs priced at $19.99, I knew something good was coming :)
Time to buy!

Thanks to all who have posted in this thread. I now have 80 pounds of Kingsford waiting at my local Lowe's. :D
(Now tell me where I can get 80 pounds of spare ribs for $18.98)
 
Every year I wait for the 8.99 2 20lb pack deal at Lowes/Home Depot right before Memorial Day and stock up on enough charcoal to basically last me until the next year :).
 
I can't buy more than 2 packs online for in store pickup at Lowes, but I can get as many as I want in store if I go and pick them up...just don't get the 10% off
 
I bet Kingsford makes $6 a bag, Lowes $3 and Home Depot $2 They probably set their pricing for the period Memorial Day thru the end of July and when the price goes up, it's because it becomes incidental shipping which costs more

Certainly a good move to stock up now

WOW! Thanks for the info! I just ordered 2 packs (which is the max allowed) for in store pick up! Smokin' deal (pun intended :))
 
Already have 400 lbs (a years worth). I try to stay 6 months ahead; you never when the holiday sale prices will go up.

It's comforting to know that we'll never miss a sale because of the tvwbb member network. I appreciate all the heads up messages I get here. Now if someone can find a great Stubbs or Wicked Good sale...
 
Yeah thanks for letting us know and the coupon code! Just stocked up on 132 lbs... Each of the bags have 2 lbs extra (20+2), so that was a bonus.

Exactly. I never knew about the charcoal sales until I joined this board. Great that we help each other out here. I am stocked up for the year as well, as you can see.
