CE Sale Buy AND Jacob's Brats

a local grocer has chuck eyes on sale this week until thursday, so i picked up a few. ◔̯◔

vacuum sealed those for another day.
today, sliced a few small onions on the Mandolin Wind, then oiled, seasoned and cried.

Jacob's brats, from the finest meat market in Appleton (or Wisconsin).

added a few tomatillos with the onions and brats...

once everything got going, nopales were added along with some sweet peppers to the onions.

Sun pickles were also a part of the scene...
plated up the brats with cheeses, onions, peppers tomatillos, German mustard....

Man... it was a FEAST! Can't wait until Oktober! Ja! Wir werden feiern, nicht wahr?

Jim as usual I'm envious of the cook. The brats look terrific. Our local store FINALLY got some true CE's in this weekend and they looked horrible. Bottom line, I'm still waiting............
