Burgers for lunch.

After a long night out last night of concert going and quite a "few" adult beverages with friends, the wife wanted a simple burger to eat. I decided to add some ground lamb to some ground 80/20 chuck and make burgers stuffed with bacon and sharp cheddar.

Bacon on the CI.

Burger on. Added some pecan wood for smoke.

Finished product. This really hit the spot to help ease the recovery from last night .

Now that is one fine looking burger, RJ! I'd willingly pay the price of a bad hangover for one of those. I like the sound of the beef/lamb combo.

The beef/lamb combo was really good Jerome. Next time I would add more to see how much different the flavor would change. This was a 3lb to 1lb ratio.
