Burger cookout in a great location!

Morning folks! So yesterday we did a little burger party at the Mendenhall Glacier! If you don't know this is one of the only glaciers you can drive/walk up to! This area is actually located on the other side of a lake from the glacier and one of our favorite rec spots!

Here is how it started!

And things went way down hill after that... Too much fun and booze and the picture taking fell off my radar!

So I did make about 30 burgers and dogs... Stayed till late, unpacked the truck and my wife and kids decided they were hungry again.... So being the dedicated (and half lit) father I started late nite burgers! Sure my neighbors thought I was nuts...

A stunning background to any cooking morgan! Well i bet you are used to it...But as a Swede i really feel humble with huge mountains around me. (sweden is pretty flat if you know what i mean)

Bet the Burgers was just as good as the veiw!
 
Awesome burgers and photos Morgan. If I can find my pictures I think I have been to that glacier, but that was probably 20 years ago.
 
Beautiful scenery and great job on your late night burger cook. That double cheeseburger looks delicious!
