Full plate!


Next tried to get some pork steaks. Had the supermarket cut up a shoulder, EPIC FAIL! Wanted them to slice at 1.5" thick, not 1 came out this way! Asked if I could freeze it and bring it back and they said, "We can't cut anything frozen on the bandsaw" BS! So this is what I got. After trimming off the fat I dusted with Lambert's and tossed on the grill. Sprout's in bacon fat also.



Didn't even take plated pictures! Horrible piece of meat! If I had a grinder it would all go in it!

yep, those are some poor looking pork steaks.
my advice, buy a butt, bone it out, and cut your own, or cut some csr's from it.

I'll bet it tasted good though! I'd certainly eat that steak. Like how you cooked those Sprouts too.

Food looks good. Sorry about Pork steaks. Sure that's frustrating. Hope it tasted good at least, even if it wasn't what you planned.

Great lookin stuff!!! Pork steaks look good too with what you were working with but I would find find another butcher next time you want pork steaks!!

Both this and its predecessor post have some great looking food. If I had to pick a fave, I think I'd go with the gyros. Reminds me I'm overdue for some greek style burgers.
