Buffalo Wings - Vortex Style

Chicken wings and drummies seasoned with the Buffalo Wing Brat Seasoning.



Onto the grill using the Vortex. The Vortex is setup in the high heat indirect cooking style and using a Grill Mat in the indirect cooking area for easy clean up.



Once the chicken was almost done I tossed them in a little sauce and back on the grill for the sauce to set. I used Tastefully Simple Spicy Garlic Parmesan Wing Sauce. Love this stuff!!





Wings done and MANY were enjoyed with MANY cold beers!!

 
The wings look amazing. I'm curious about this Vortex of which you speak. Could you expand on it?
 
Great looking wings. Impressive color and little char for never going direct. Seasoning sounds wonderful as well.
 
The vortex works as advertised. You can crisp them via the vents. It gets really hot.
 
Love my vortex. I have only used it two times, one for my famous marinated tri tip with my family on Christmas Eve, and the second for the same on Christmas day with the in-laws.

I plan on buying them for the eggs too. Simple, cool invention.

Medium. I have performers at my in laws and my mom's house. I bought the medium because I use the 26 at home.
