Len Dennis TVWBB Diamond Member Oct 23, 2015 #2 Made out of 420 s.s., from what I've read is used for inexpensive knives, is difficult to sharpen and doesn't hold an edge well. They are tough though. If anybody needs this sort of knife, there are better choices. Just sayin'.
