Brisket - Again !

What is the largest brisket any of you guys have done on a WSM ? I have a 13 1/4 pounder and I am afraid it is not going to fit on the top rack !!! Can/should I cut it in half?
Any advice?

I suggest not cutting it in half, being your first brisket cook it whole. I've done a number of them in that size range. Trim some off the deckle end if it is real long.

I've done some big ones on the top grate. What I did was to tuck it in lengthwise between the grate handles. This prevented the brisket from touching the inside of the lid. After a few hours, the brisket will shrink and fit will no longer be a problem.
