Did burgers a bit back, and forgot to share. I did these as a kinda "what do we have laying around". Had ground beef, a variety of cheeses and some potatoes...I can work with that. Despite missing a few ingredients to fit any standard recipe, I wanted to make this meal special so I favored creativity and improvisation over a tried-true method.
Did the ground beef up with a splash of garlic salt, kosher, pepper, and A-1. I don't usually do A-1 in my burgers, but I aim to spoil my diners!
Rolled out the patties pretty flat, stuffed with strips of brie and combined 2 patties.
Side was potatoes au gratin....kinda. Like I said, not ideal ingredients but it will work with half-and-half rather than whole milk, a little ranch dressing over potatoes as a thickening agent, pieces of butter all throughout, McCormick "Salad Supreme", season-all, mexican mixed cheese and Hormel "Real crumbled bacon" at the end.
The final product was delicious, and very well received!
The potatoes were delicious but I made enough for a small family. I decided they'd substitute for hash browns the next morning. Made breakfast with my homemade bacon and a couple runny eggs. No bread left in the house, but nobody was complaining.
