I used Brett-EDH’s “secret” recipe for char sui pork tonite on my Performer. I cut back on the 5 spice because that is an assertive taste I don’t really enjoy so I put enough in to know it was included, but not overpowering.
I had a remote probe in to monitor the temp., but that wasn’t very effective so I used my eyes and fingers and it came out completely tender. I will make it again. It was not difficult and tasted great.
I served it with jasmine rice, Trader Joe’s Bird Nests, celery and white and yellow carrots. Thanks, Brett for the great recipe!
