Picked up this beauty--- block Griswold #8 with self basting lid. She came already seasoned but I cleaned and reseasoned myself. Decided to pan fry some chicken tenders. Dredge was flour, S&P, and magic dust. Coated in egg, dredge, egg, and dredge again. Came out great! Ate with ketchup/habanero sauce mix.

Everything looks great! What's involved with seasoning the CI? I have a skillet that I'm sure needs reseasoning, but I have no idea where to start.

Chris--- depending on what condition the skillet is in you may have to clean down to bare cast iron and reseason. As for seasoning, there are many methods folks use--- each to his own. Send me a PM of ya wanna chat more about CI! :D

Great find! I'm new to cast iron cooking but liking it more all the time. Good looking chik'n too!
